Onuachu Targeting Belgian Cup After Taking His Season's Tally To 31 For Genk

Nigeria striker and KRC Genk serial scorer, Paul Ebere Onuachu, says he is fully focused on the Belgian Cup final against Standard Liège on April 25.

The 26 years old expressed this desire in a post on his Instagram page on Sunday, a day after coming off with a brace in 3-2 defeat to Royal Antwerp FC, in a First Division A game week 34 encounter at Bosuilstadion, Deurne.

"Full focus on cup final," the towering striker stated alongside the picture above, which shows him celebrating one of two goals on the road on Saturday afternoon.

Onuachu hit the target on 22, to put the visitors in front and doubled the lead from the spot on 64 minutes, taking his season's tally to 29 and 31 across all competitions, having netted twice in cup competition.

He would a major pin-up when they face Standard Liège at Stade Roi Baudouin Brussel, being the second leading scorer in Europe behind Poland international and Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski, who has scored 35 league goals for the German champions.
