After Today's Matches, See How The Serie A Table Looks Like

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo had a spot kick saved as the Old Lady were held to yet another Serie A stalement in an entertaining game against Atalanta BC which ended 1-1 in Turin on Wednesday night.

A wonderful strike from Federico Chiesa put the Italian Giants in front in the first period, but Remo Freuler’s powerful shot came off the goal bar and in to get the visitors a deserved draw after the interval

Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo spurned a golden opportunity to put Juventus ahead, but his tame penalty was comfortably saved by Atlanta Goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini.

The Old Lady are 3rd with twenty four points, 6 ahead of Atalanta in 8th, and although they remain unbeaten this campaign, they've drawn half of their twelve league match.

“You need to take bring the result home in these matches,” Juventus gaffer Pirlo said to Sky Italia.

“We had a lot of opportunities but did not manage to close it out, when you leave the match in the balance anything can occur.”

Spain Striker Alvaro Morata was guilty of a big miss early on, when the Juventus forward latched onto a loose ball 6 yards in front of an open net and back-heeled it wide.
