Chelsea football club key Player, Antonio Rudiger is rumored to be in talks with the Chelsea board for a new contract as Chelsea are hoping to tie him down to the club following his outstanding performances since Thomas Tuchel became Chelsea's manager after the sacking of Frank Lampard last year February. 
The Germany International who has fought and established himself as a regular starter under Thomas Tuchel has been praised by former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand for his recent amazing performances.
Speaking to FIVE, Rio Ferdinand said, "Homage and respect should be paid to Thomas Tuchel by Frank Lampard. Just look at Rudiger, he's been one of the best defenders in the Premier League since the regime of Thomas Tuchel".
It is understood that Chelsea football club are prepared to tie him down and has opened up talks with Antonio Rudiger and his representatives on a new contract. It also understood that Antonio Rudiger who has become a key figure under Tuchel is entering into the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge.
