The blues bottled their opportunity to climb to third place on EPL table as Graham Potter's men held them to settle for a point.
According to Jorginho, he felt Brighton should've won the game because Chelsea made some mistakes in their build-up which could have led to a goal.
The Italian said the game was hard because Brighton defended very well, so it was hard for for them to create many chances like they used to which was why they suffered.
Jorginho who played full 90 Minutes on the night added by saying "We (Chelsea) need to keep working, keep pushing, work harder to improve and I’m sure we are going to do that."
Meanwhile, Manager Thomas Tuchel blamed the results on distractions (European Super League) and tiredness on the part of staff and players.
Nonetheless, Chelsea next game will be against London rival and top four contenders i.e West Ham United.
