Nigerian midfielder Akinkunmi Amoo continued his good run of form when he scored and created another goal to help his Club Hammarby beat IFK Gothenburg in a Swedish Allsvenskan match on Thursday.

The former Golden Eaglets star was the standout performer in the game and was rewarded with man of the match award at the end of the game.

Akinkunmi Amoo is one of the most in form Nigerian midfielder in Europe at the moment and yesterday's performance is another proof that he's ready to be a key player in the Super Eagles.

Amoo is blessed with terrific pace, strength and dribbling ability, which can be an asset to the Gernot Rohr's team.

At the moment, the German is playing Alex Iwobi and Joe Aribo in the number position, but it is clear that they are not a natural play-maker, so there is no point playing him, where there is a better option.

There is a very high record of rising stars around the globe to pick from, but Akinkunmi Amoo is head and shoulders above others.

Amoo's six goals and five for Hammarby is the best by any Nigerian midfielder in Europe this season. In addition, he completed 32 dribbles and created 24 scoring opportunities for his teammates.

No doubt Rohr is getting results with the players at his disposal, but there is still a lot to desire in chances creation and Rohr must invite a natural number 10, like Amoo to complete his puzzle.

Amoo can be the solution to Super Eagles lack of creativity from the middle of the park, and strikers like Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu will enjoy his services.
