Chelsea returned to action once again as they continued their quest for their first English premier league title under Thomas Tuchel. The blues are currently sitting at the top of the league table. Chelsea beat Norwich despite the kind of squad Tuchel had. Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner were not part of that squad as both players were injured during Chelsea's champions league game against Malmo FF within the week. Tuchel had to make series of changes in order to make up for Lukaku and Werner's absence.
Chelsea started this game against Norwich with a different side which had the likes Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Reece James. These players eventually got on the score sheet. Mason Mount ended up getting his first hat trick in EPL.
Over the past few summer transfer windows, Chelsea has not failed to close deals in the transfer window that will see that players are being brought into the club. Marina Granovskaia has ensured that the blues get the best deals done. Marina played a major role in helping Chelsea sign Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, and Romelu Lukaku. These players were expected to make Chelsea's attack even more lethal but these three players have not even scored up to 10 goals this season altogether.
For the past few games, Chelsea's attacks have been quite dormant and have failed to score goals as Chelsea had to rely on their defense for goals. Tuchel had to rely on academy players to produce that excellent result against Norwich.
With the winter transfer window gradually approaching, Marina will be expected to make one or two more signings as the likes of Declan Rice and Jules Kounde are being monitored. However, the performance of these academy stars in that Norwich game and other games is enough to let Marina leave her transfer window plans and also make things easier for her.
