In-form Nigerian star nets again for French Ligue 1 giants in their 2-1 League cup victory

In-form Nigerian youngster Terem Moffi continues his excellent performance for Christophe Pelissier's FC Lorient on Tuesday night, as he scored another goal in his team's 2-1 home victory over Rene Girard led Paris FC at Stade Yves Allainmat-Le Moustoir in the France Cup.

The former Nigeria youth international was the hero again for FC Lorient, as he helped them to defeat their opponent, to extend their unbeaten run to 5 matches in all competitions.

Terem Moffi who has been scoring goals for fun in recent weeks gave Christophe Pelissier's team another goal against the tough opponent, and his 83rd minutes goal was enough to take his team to the next round of the Competition.

Rene Girard led Paris football club opened scoring through Moustapha Name in the 13th minutes to take the lead in the first half of the game.

Yoane Wissa then equalized for the host via penalty kick in the 71st minutes, before Nigerian star Terem Moffi scored the winning goal in the 83rd minutes to give the home team the victory.

Terem Moffi who joined FC Lorient from KV Kortrijk football club of Belgium was extremely good on the pitch, and he was able to score a fine goal to give his team the deserved victory, and the goal means he has scored 6 goals in his last 8 matches.

The 2-1 victory over Paris FC has now taken Christophe Pelissier's team to the next round of the France Cup.
