Number Of Goals Ronaldo Will Need To Score In Order To Become The All Time Top Scorer At Man Utd

For almost a week now, Cristiano Ronaldo has been dominating the headlines. First, for his return to Manchester United and then for becoming the all time men's International top scorer following his brace against the Republic of Ireland in the ongoing FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Scoring goals has been the pinnacle of Ronaldo's career and despite being 36 years of age, the Portugese International has made it clear that he is not closing the count just yet. However, during his first six seasons at Old Trafford, the former Juventus talisman managed to register one hundred and eighteen (118) goals for the Red Devils and is currently in ninth position on the all time scoring chart.

If he bags forty six (46) more goals in his second spell, he will climb to third position, while sixty five (65) goals will take him to second place, but to become the all time top scorer, Ronaldo will need to score one hundred and thirty six (136) goals in order to break Wayne Rooney's record.

See below;

Considering his age, one hundred and thirty six (136) goals in two a year interval might be a big ask for the Portugese International, but there's nothing too huge in football that he cannot attain as long as it has to do with finding the back of the net.

Ronaldo is well aware of what lies ahead of him and just as he became the all time top scorer at Real Madrid, he will be hoping to do the same at Manchester United before he calls time on his career.

Do you think Cristiano Ronaldo can break Wayne Rooney's record?
