Super Eagles of Nigeria midfield maestro, Ogenyi Onazi was in action on Saturday night for Denizlispor in their 9th league game of the Turkish 1st Lig against Balikesirspsor at the Denizli Ataturk Stadium.
The Nigerian star was handed a role to play in his team's starting XI following his outstanding performance for the club in their previous game before the international break.
Ogenyi Onazi was at the heart of centre-field for the host of the night with his top notch and great influx of delivery which were instrumental in the two goals to one scoreline at full time.
The host in the game were very determined despite conceding first as they came from behind to seal the whole three points of the night which moved them to the 11th spot on the table.
The host in the first half trailed from behind with a goal from Halil Colak in the 9th minute to make it one nil which was the only goal that separated the two sides going into half time break.
In the second half of the game, the host stepped up their game and as such got an equaliser in the 76th minute with a goal from Hakan Cinemre to make it 1-1 before Kevin Mayi gave his side the deserving lead in the 90+4 minutes as it ended two goals to one at full time.
The win for the host has now taken them to the 11th spot on the table with 10 points in 9 games played and as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture, so as to continue their pursuit in the competition.
