There are lot of standard and beautiful stadiums in Africa but the best is the first national bank stadium or simply FNB stadium, sell known as soccer City and the calabash.

It is a football and rugby union stadium located in nasrec, bordering the soweto area of johannesburg, south africa.

It is managed by stadium management south africa and is the home of kaizer chiefs FC.

The stadium was first built in 1987, but underwent a major upgrade in preparation for the 2010 FIFA world cup with a new design inspired by the shape of an African pot, the calabash.

Before the upgrade, the stadium had a capacity of 80,000 people but after the upgrade it was increased to a total capacity of 94,736 people.

The stadium also hosted large continental fixtures.

The unique design of the stadium cost of total 3.3 billion rands and has hosted the biggest sports and music events the country has ever witnessed.

It is also a preferred venue for the soweto Derby that involves two South African premier soccer league football giants, kaizer chiefs and Orlando pirates.
