Chelsea defender keen on to stay at Stamford Bridge despite exit talks

Chelsea centre-back Andreas Christensen has revealed that he is keen on to remain at Stamford Bridge for the next season despite rumours linking him with a departure from the club.

The 24-year-old centre-back has struggled for a regular spot with the West London club during Maurizio Sarri’s time at Stamford Bridge, however, after the arrival of Frank Lampard, things have changed.

The Denmark international has been a regular under English manager, though, playing 23 games in all competitions and starting 10 of the last 11 Premier League games.

Christensen declared his “love” for Chelsea before claiming that he would be open to extending his contract which is set to expire in 2022.

“I’ve never looked anywhere else,” Christensen told Sky Sports News. “I’ve never doubted my situation. I’ve always had my eyes at Chelsea.

“I’ve had my contract and I’ve always expected to finish that and I’ve always dreamed of even more than that. Nothing has changed. Obviously it was a different situation last season but I still love being here, that’s the short answer.”

Chelsea forward on the brink to make shock move to London rivals

Arsenal are reportedly still in talks with Chelsea forward Willian over a potential move to the Emirates Stadium ahead of the 2020-21 season.

The Brazil international is contracted to the West London club until the end of the 2019-20 campaign, however, his long-term future at Stamford Bridge stays unclear.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly offered Brazilian winger a lucrative deal to make the move to North London club on a free transfer in the summer.

However, according to Bleacher Report, the Gunners are also very much in the hunt for the South American winger, with Mikel Arteta’s side ‘making contact’ to determine what sort of contract he is looking for in terms of wages and length.

Brazilian forward, who is believed to want a three-year deal at the West London club, has found back of the net 11 times and provided nine assists in 45 games for Frank Lampard’s side during the current campaign.

The versatile forward has been in English football since arriving from Russian outfits Anzhi Makhachkala back in 2013.

Arsenal head-coach Mikel Arteta will reportedly only have limited funds to spend in thes ummer due to the financial impact from the coronavirus outbreak, and the Spaniard recently revealed that he had “big concerns” over the size of the team’s transfer budget.

Arsenal set to miss out on forward as he nears Serie A transfer

Victor Osimhen has emerged as a transfer target for Arsenal this season as the Gunners look to bolster their team.

He has spent just one season at French side, Lille, but his fine goal return has attracted the attention of top European teams.

Arsenal is one of them, but the Gunners look set to miss out on signing him as he nears a move to Italian side, Napoli.

Football Italia claims that he will become a Napoli player in the next couple of hours after he changed his agent to get the deal over the line.

Osimhen is one player that has been tipped to join the Gunners if they lose any of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

The future of both players remains uncertain at the moment, but the club is having a good time on the pitch and they are focused on ending this season in the best possible position that they can end it in.

The move would cost the Italians €81m, according to the report, a fee that Arsenal would have struggled to match as they struggle with funds due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Gunners will now look to secure the future of Aubameyang and Lacazette as they have both been in fine form for the team, recen
