He spent 781 million Dollars for transfer. His record transfer was Gonzalo Higuain, who he took to Napoli in 2013 from Real Madrid for a fee of $43M.

It was at Valencia that Benitez won the La Liga title in 2001/2 and 2003/4. He also won the UEFA Cup in 2004. He then moved to Liverpool, where he guided the team to the memorable Champions League title on 2005.

4. Manuel Pellegrini – 1.2 billion dollars

His record transfer was Cristiano Ronaldo who he took from Manchester United to Real Madrid for a record fee of $104M. On June 2013, he was appointed manager of Manchester City, and he won the Football League Cup.

His record transfer was Zlatan Ibrahimovic who he took from Inter Milan to Barcelona for a fee of $78M.

2. Carlo Ancelotti – 1.3 billion dollars
