Another controversial decision by the Video Assistant Referee after awarding Paris Saint Germain a penalty towards the last minutes of the game. It was an entertaining match between the two teams but Paris Saint Germain got the winning goal through the of the Referee and the Video Assistant Referee.

The center Referee had a clear view of the ball and refused to award a penalty to Paris Saint Germain but after a review by the Video Assistant Referee, a penalty was awarded to PSG.
From the replay of the incident, it was clearly seen that the Angers player did not stop the ball intentionally just like Jules Kounde in the UEFA Nations League final.
The Video Assistant Referee refused to award Spain a penalty despite the protest by Spanish players.
Kylian Mbappe converted the penalty to give Paris Saint Germain a 2-1 over Angers in the 87th minutes of the game.
