Renowned spanish defender sergio ramos has signed for french ligue 1 giants paris saint germain. He signed a two year deal which will keep him with the Paris based club untill 2023.

The experienced defender is a major addition for Mauricio pochettino's squad ahead of next season's campaign. The argentine manager is currently building a strong side that is capable of winning the champions league.

Paris saint germain made a good choice in signing sergio ramos and here are three things the Paris based club will gain from ramos.

1. Sergio ramos is a very experienced defender. He knows the game too. He will serve as a mentor to young PSG defenders. Players like kehrer and kimpempe will surely learn a thing or two from sergio ramos.

2. He will help patch up PSG's leaky defense. The PSG defense has not been stable since the departure of brazillian defender Thiago silver to chelsea.

3. If he is made the captain, Sergio ramos has great leadership skills. He will to help build up the team spirit which is essential for winning trophies.
