Jorginho returned to the starting lineup for Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League today when the Blues welcomed Malmo to the Stamford Bridge Stadium on Wednesday night. The Italian International was in brilliant form today as he guided Chelsea to a massive 4-0 victory over Malmo at the end of the match.
Chelsea took the lead with just 9 minutes of football action in the first half as Ander Christensen opened the scoring with a powerful strike to make the scoreline 1-0. Chelsea doubled their lead in the 21st minute of the match as Jorginho converted easily from the Penalty spot to put the Blues 2-0 ahead at halftime.
Kai Havertz came into the party as he extended Chelsea's lead in the 48th minute of the match to make the scoreline 3-0 in favour of the Blues. Jorginho wrapped things up in the 57th minute of the match as he scored another penalty to make the final scoreline 4-0 in favour of Chelsea.
Jorginho was arguably the best player for Chelsea in today's match as he hit a brilliant performance against Malmo. The Italian Midfielder scored two goals in the match as he played his central midfield role brilliantly. The 29-year-old won the Man Of The Match Award After having an amazing display against the Swedish team.
