The former Lyon striker doubled the lead via a penalty kick in the second half, before Vincent Iborra scored for the away team in the 84th minutes to end the match 2-1.
The Zinedine Zidane's men were presented the trophy immediately after the match, and many football lovers have started reacting to Real Madrid Laliga triumph.
Among those who congratulated Real Madrid are Barcelona and some Laliga clubs. Barca wrote on their verified Twitter account that:
"Congrats to Real Madrid on winning the 2019/2020 Laliga title."
