Super Eagles stars congratulate Nigerian star after coming from the bench to score in his team win

Super Eagles of Nigeria stars Ogenyi Onazi and Olanrewaju Kayode have congratulated Nigerian star Leke James, after coming from the bench to score a classic goal for his team in their 2-1 comeback victory over Dinamo Butami FC in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers.

The former Molde FK star was dropped to the bench by coach Ray Calimbay, and he was impressive after being introduced in the second half.

Leke James replaced Mali star Mustapha Yatabare in the 58th minutes, and he was able to score an equalizer few minutes after.

After playing out a goalless draw in the first half, the host took the lead through Vladimer Mamuchashvili in the 54th minutes, and Leke James equalized in the 75th minutes through an assist from Ugur Ciftci, before Olanrewaju Kayode netted the winning goal in the last minute of the game to end the match 2-1.

The goal against Dinamo Butami FC means Leke James has now scored his first goal for the team.

Reacting after coming from the bench to score a goal in his team's comeback victory, Leke James posted on his verified Instagram handle that;

"Good fight from the team to secure the win and also delighted to get my first goal for Sivasspor SK 🔴⚪🙏🏽."

Reacting to Leke James' post, Super Eagles stars Ogenyi Onazi, Olanrewaju Kayode, and fans reacted by commenting to congratulate him.

The Nigerian international will now be looking forward to continuing his outstanding performance when they play their League game this weekend.
