According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus winger Federico Chiesa’s value has kept increasing with every match and the newspaper claims he would soon worth €100m, making him the most valuable Italian player. Since there are many great prospects coming out in the Italian top flight, it begs the question if the Italian newspaper is right.
The Italian winger joined the Bianconeri from Fiorentina ahead of the 2020/21 campaign for a fee around €50m plus €10m in bonuses and his development at the Allianz Stadium has been significant. Chiesa has been a great addition for the Old Lady and doesn't look like he is going to stop any time soon.
The 23-year-old has established himself as a key player at the Allianz Stadium and with Italy national team, and is close to having doubled in value after only one season, according to the newspaper. The youngster has continued to be at the forefront of the current Juventus and is definitely one for the future in Turin, i.e, his value will increase even further.
Chiesa has scored 16 goals and provided 11 assists in 50 games played for the Bianconeri since moving to Turin and La Gazzetta points at a rapid increase in his worth, closing in at a valuation of €100m. The young Italian player is very talented and might be worth around £200m in the next year and could even win the Ballon d’Or.
Another newspaper like Wallabies and CIES also values Federico Chiesa between €72.9m and €88.3m, claiming If he’s an English player his value would be $250 mil. W&C also claims they are not sure why Italian teams are always selling their products for a lesser amount.
Therefore, whether La Gazzetta dello Sport or Wallabies and CIES are right remain to be seen as there are many talented and exciting Italian prospects out there that are more hungry and determined than the Juventus star.
