Manchester United fullback Brandon Williams celebrates his 21st birthday today following his loan move to Norwich City at the start of the season. The youngster was one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's most used players at the start of the 2018/2019 season when he was brought through from the academy.

Williams has played 2 games for Norwich City so far with one coming in the league and the other coming on the EFL Cup where they won by a 6 goal margin. While he has yet to score or assist in a goal, he has looked very bright.

When Solskjaer came to Manchester United, he emphasised the need to continue the tradition of giving youth players a chance at first team football. A tradition his other predecessors ignored. Williams, along with Mason Greenwood, was one of the first players that embodied this tradition.

The 21 year old fullback has played 22 Europa League games for the club, along with 8 FA Cup appearances, 7 EFL Cup matches and 21 premier league games.
