Osaze Odemwingie speaks on his future plans.

Former Super Eagles forward, Osaze Odemwingie, has disclosed plans to go into coaching in the future.


Osaze, who swerved to golf after declaring openly his retirement from football in 2019, received a golf tutoring badge in December 2019 and has also enrolled for a higher trainer course.

But the Ex Lille and Stoke City star announces he is pondering on diving into football coaching Job.

“In about 3 to 4 years, I would like to become a football manager,” the Ex-Super Eagles revealed on Instagram live session monitored by our reporter.

At the period the agenda is to spend as much moment as possible with my children. I toured a lot during my career and didn’t get to spend as much moment with them as I would have wanted, but now I’m appreciating being a father.

“Now I’m into golf because that provides me the understanding about other games and the information I need about football coaching but for now, I’m concentrating on golf because I have a profound affection for it.”

The former Bendel Insurance player also disclosed his intention to go into football coaching.

“Golf is my focus now but football is a plan B for me. Hopefully, I can get one certificate in administration, that can help me in the managerial circle for the association in the future. The more shot you have, the better,” he added.
