Barcelona are champions of Spain for the 27th time after clinching the title tonight with a 4-2 victory over bitter rivals, Espanyol.

The Catalans raced into an early lead through Robert Lewandowski who slotted in from close range following a fine cross from Alejandro Balde. Few moments later, Balde scored himself to double Barça's advantage.
The Spanish fullback tapped in Pedri's cross to mark his first senior goal for Barça, with Lewandowski making it 3-nil 5 minutes before halftime.


After the break, Jules Kounde scored Barça's fourth goal of the night to also mark his first goal for the Catalans since he joined them last summer.
Espanyol managed to pull two goals back, but Barcelona held on firmly to win their first league title in 4 years.
After the match, Barcelona players had to rush into the tunnel to avoid the Espanyol fans that ran onto the pitch to pursue them as they were celebrating their league triumph - source ESPN FC.
