Nigerian international and former Chelsea football club of England star, Victor Moses was in action on Saturday night for Spartak Moscow in their 9th game of the Russian premier league against FC Ufa at the Otkrytiye Arena.
The Former Super Eagles of Nigeria star was handed a role to play in his team's starting XI and he was able to shine as he delivered at the optimal level which was instrumental in the 2-0 win of the night.
The host opened the scoring sheet in the 3rd minute of the game with a goal from Ezequiel Ponce to make it one nil before Quincy Promes doubled the lead for the host to make it two goals to nil going into the half time break.
The tempo of the game got more intensed in the second half as they both put up some physical, tactical and technical displays but none was able to found the back of the net with all efforts to add more to the tally of the night proving abortive as it ended two goals to nil at full time.
Spartak Moscow with the win of the night now currently sit at the 8th spot on the table with 13 points in 9 games played and as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture,so as to continue their pursuit in the competition.
