Barcelona considering replacing Koeman with Former Player, Xavi Hernandez

Barcelona have had an inconsistent start to their new season. The Catalan club had a torrid summer transfer window where they lost arguably their greatest ever Player, Lionel Messi. Manager, Ronald Koeman is under pressure to deliver this season but he might not even see out the season with recent reports suggesting that Barcelona are considering giving him the sack.

Media reports in Spain have been reporting that the Dutch Manager has been having disagreements with the Barcelona Board especially club President, Juan Laporta. And with Barcelona yet to win a match especially in the month of September, the Catalan club are considering replacing Koeman with Former Player and club Legend, Xavi.

The Former Barcelona captain has been coaching in Qatar and with his great achievements in his early coaching career, he is being considered to takeover from Koeman who is now under pressure and could be sacked at anytime.

If results improve for Barcelona especially in La liga, Koeman could still remain as Manager but if the club's poor and inconsistent form continues, then Laporta and Barcelona's Board might start looking for Koeman's replacement.
