The 28 year old lady who plays for Melbourne City made it known that she took the decision inorder to support her boyfriend, Matt Stonham. He was diagnosed of Brain cancer and needs all the support he can get from family and friends.
Dobson had nothing but the care of her partner in mind while making the decision but little did she know that her last match was going to be one of her best ever.
She not only secured a win for her team but also scored a goal in a 2-1 win.
Soon after the match, the unexpected happened. Matt went down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life, Dobson.
She was full of joy and excitement as she said 'yes'.

Matt would be undergoing series of treatments inorder to subdue the cancer. We hope ad pray that together, they win this battle against cancer.
