Earlier today, Juventus secured a vital 2-0 win against AS Roma as they climb to third place on the Serie A league table.

Cristiano Ronaldo gave the Old Lady the lead in the 13th minute of the first half through a beautiful assist from Alvaro Morata.

Minutes before the end of the first half, the 36-year-old had a great opportunity to double his goal tally, but his shot came off the post.

But something else happened before the end of the first half that caught the attention of so many fans.

The 36-year-old forward was spotted having a conversation with the refree to confirm if the VAR decision was right.

As you can see in the picture above, Cristiano Ronaldo held the refree's wrist to check if the VAR was right.

Some fans of the portuguese have taken to their various social media handles to react to Cristiano Ronaldo's action.
