The Tactical 3-4-2-1 Lineup Tuchel Might Use To Feature Lukaku & Havertz After The Int'l Break

The November international break is set to begin this week and players who were called up by their respective countries will be expected to perform their international duties. This international break is supposed to last for just one week and then club football will begin again. Chelsea will be facing Manchester united immediately after the break. Thomas Tuchel will be expecting the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Mason Mount to make their return from injury after the international break.

The lineup seen below shows how Tuchel could possibly be lining up his men after the international break when the likes of Romelu Lukaku return from injury.

Eduardo Mendy will be starting in goal for the blues if he doesn't get injured when performing his international duties. The goalkeeper has continued to impress for the blues in goal. In defence, Thiago Silva, Ceasar Azplicueta and Antonio Rudiger will be combining to strengthen their defense. Tuchel's three-man defensive system has helped Chelsea patch some loop holes in their backline.

N'golo Kante featured for the blues during their weekend game and his combination with Jorginho in that midfield might be seen. The likes of Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek might be introduced later in the game. Chelsea's midfield options are now looking like they are numerous and this is due to Chelsea's enormous squad depth.

Thomas Tuchel might decide to rest Romelu Lukaku and start Kai Havertz in that central farward position in place of Lukaku. This is a precautionary measure for Lukaku's injury to avoid rushing him back when he is not fully fit. In that attack, Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech might start as the supporting strikers as they will be expected to provide the adequate support needed by Havertz upfront. Tuchel might introduce Lukaku later in the game to pair with Havertz. This might make him switch to a 3-4-1-2 formation instead of his usual 3-4-2-1 formation.
