Chelsea has picked a sudden interest in Fenerbahçe 23 years old centre back after they failed to reach an agreement with Antonio Rudiger over a new contract renewal.
The defender has shown some level of maturity in his game which made the club pick an interest in him but a lot of persons don't feel comfortable with the deal as they think Jules Kounde would have been a better addition to the team.
Despite having a height of 192cm Attila was only able to win only 40% of the aerial duels he went for during the Euro competition. This brings a lot of concerns to the fans as they don't see him as a possible replacement for Rudiger.
The Fenerbahçe defender has an average rating of 6.5 which is below the standard required to be a proper defender at Chelsea.
Following Jules Kounde record at Sevilla, the defender is one of the best in his position and also good with his foot, a characteristic needed at Chelsea. He was able to win 90% of his aerial duels last Sevilla surpassing Sergio Ramos to become the highest defender to win an aerial battle last season.
It is no doubt that Kounde would be a better addition to the team than Attila, if a defender is to be bought in the next transfer window then it should be Jules Kounde of Sevilla.
