Williams will now team up with Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour who is also on loan at the club from the Blues.
The England youth international will game more playing time under Daniel Farke but will have to battle Max Aarons for a spot in the right back position.
Manchester United released an official statement on their website to announce the departure of Brandon Williams on loan to Norwich City.
"Manchester United full-back Brandon Williams will spend the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Premier League club Norwich City.
"The 20-year-old made 14 Reds appearances in all competitions last season and will relish the opportunity to gain more first-team experience at Carrow Road over the next nine months. Managed by Daniel Farke, Norwich earned promotion to the Premier League last term by winning the Championship," the club stated.
