Just a few after days after Victor Osimhen single-handedly gave Napoli their first Serie A title in 33 years, the Italian league kicked off with several interesting games this weekend. Apart from Napoli Empoli also had a wonderful mid-week by comfortably beating Bologna 3-1. Juventus on the other hand grabbed a narrow win against Leece.
On Saturday, AC Milan returned to action against Lazio after their 1-1 during the mid-week. The game was a very tough and intense clash for both sides who are keen on finishing the season in the top four. Current Serie A title holders were able to outmuscled Sarri's men. Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer were the stars of the game as Milan buried two goals in Lazio's net.

Inter Milan also produced an impressive display against Jose Mourinho's Roma. Federico Dimarco and Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku scored to give Inter Milan the hope of qualifying for next season's Champions League. As it stands, Inter Milan is sitting fourth in the league table.
