Possible opponents for Enyimba: Things You Need to know Ahead Of The CAF Confederation Cup draw

Enyimba's list of possible opponents in the CAF Confederation Cup round of 8 has been confirmed, following the conclusion of the competition’s group stage.

The draw takes place in a matter of hours and Koyero is here with the ultimate guide.

When is the draw?

The CAF Confederation Cup draw for the Last 8 will hold on on Friday, 30 April after the group stage games ended last night.

What's the story so far?

Those who have qualified as group winners will find their opponents in teams who finished second.

Enyimba topped Group A with nine points from six games.

How does the draw work?

Like always, seeded clubs will be drawn to face unseeded clubs. Out of the 8 teams, 4 are seeded while the others remain unseeded.

The table toppers are placed as seeded teams.

This means the People's Elephants are placed on the seeded list - and seeded clubs get to play the second leg of their last 8 game at home.

Unseeded clubs, on the other hand, will the first leg at home.

Couple of things to keep in mind: Clubs that have qualified from the same group cannot be drawn to face each other.

Who could Enyimba face?

Since the Aba side are on the seeded list, their possible opponents are - Coton Sports, Pyramid and CS Sfaxien.

The draws for the Q/F stage is to be done on April 30th. Caf Director of competitions Samson Adamu will be assisted by Cote d’Ivoire legend Abdoulaye Traore will run the draw process.
