Thomas Tuchel took over at Chelsea FC after the club sacked Frank Lampard after some poor performances and results. Prior to Thomas Tuchel's reign at the club, the club was 10th on the league table but Tuchel turned it around and the team is now 4th on the Log.
One of the most challenging string of consecutive fixtures was the fixtures that ran from February 23 to March 17 2021. This 6 consecutive fixtures started with the games against Athletico Madrid, Manchester United, Liverpool FC, Everton FC, Leeds Unitedand thenAthletico Madridagain.
Chelsea played these six matches without conceding a single goal, winning 4 and drawing 2 of those matches. Some might say that Leeds United were underdogs in that duel but there are no underdogs in football.
Thomas Tuchel should be given some accolades for what he has been able to achieve with this Chelsea team. He also succeeded in qualifying the team for the quarter final stage of the UEFA Champion's league.
