I Won't Lie, I Never Thought People Would Show Me Love - Super Eagles Star Shares His Touching Story

A popular Nigerian Footballer, who has played for the Nigeria National team known as Super Eagles shared a very touching story of how he was able to 'hit the jack pot' and succeeded in his football career.

The Nigerian Footballer whose name is John Ogu, plays as a midfielder for the Super Eagles since 2013 shared a touching story of how he made it in his football career. John Ogu stared to share this story after his followers on Twitter skyrocketed to over 100 thousand followers.

He said: "Hi everyone, woke up and i saw 176k people are following me. Bruh I won't lie, when i was on the street of Surulere, I wouldn't have believed people will follow me on Twitter or show me love on the street of Lagos whenever they see me. I'm much Grateful to you all i swear."

John started by sharing how he had never believed that Nigerians would love him so much, right from the streets of Surulere in Lagos state, Nigeria. Then he moved on to share how challenging it was for him to get a club he would be able to play and continue his career. He also shared his Journey from one club to another; from one league and country another. John spoke about how a friend he trusted so much also betrayed his truth due to some selfish interest as stated by him.

"I known a lot of people are like what's up with JOHN OGU? is he done playing? i know a lot of y'all are like chaii and i love that guy so much. Guy is so passionate for Super Eagles and so on." He said.

"Truth is, a lot of people I trusted failed me in my career moving forward. I remember i trusted some back here in Nigeria after I signed for Almeria in La Liga then but because of their selfish interest for me to play in Belgium, deal crashed but we move."
