Four Players Arrive Super Eagles Camp As Two Defenders Are Dropped

Two players have been dropped from the Super Eagles team preparing for the international friendly game against the El Tri of Mexico in the US. Former Enyimba defender, Ifeanyi Anaemena was dropped from the team, with Christopher Nwaeze of Kwara United

Enyimba's trio of Anayo Iwuala, John Noble and Ekundayo Ojo and Abia Warriors defender, Adekunle Adeleke also arrived the camp on Thursday evening. The four players were involved in a rescheduled NPFL encounter at the Okigwe stadium where Enyimba secured their fifth away win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Abia Warriors

The team will be led by NFF's Technical Director, Augustine Eguavoen and his assistant, Paul Aigbogun. More players are still expected to be dropped, at least two more goalkeepers

Coach Gernot Rohr will supervise the team as he looks forward to getting more home based players to join the foreign based players. He has been available since the team started training in Abuja
