Madrid Plotting A Shock Move For Lukaku
Real Madrid are in the market to sign a backup striker to support French superstar, Karim Benzema, in attack. Los Blancos have identified former Chelsea man, Romelu Lukaku, as an option. According to reports in Fichajes, Carlo Ancelotti is a fan of the Belgian and believes he could help the Los Blancos attack. Lukaku is currently on loan at Inter from Chelsea and is expected to return back to London with Inter hesitant on pulling the trigger to make the move permanent.
Chelsea Midfielder Joins Hull
Chelsea's Xavier Simons has completed a permanent transfer to Hull. The 19-year-old initially joined the Tigers on loan in September and has made six Championship appearances, including starting four of Hull’s last five league games.
Hull were close to making Simons' move permanent in January but were unable to complete the deal before the close of the window.
March set for new Brighton deal
Solly March looks set to extend his stay at Brighton for the foreseeable future, with The Athletic reporting that the in-form full-back is about to pen a new contract. Despite missing out on Gareth Southgate's latest England squad, March has had a huge hand in Brighton's seventh-placed standing in the league, with seven goals in his last 12 games. The 28-year-old joins the likes of Moises Caicedo and Adam Lallana in signing new contracts with the Seagulls.

Julian Alvarez has signed a one-year extension to his Manchester City contract. The striker, who played a starring role as Argentina won the 2022 World Cup in December, will remain at the Etihad until the summer of 2028. Alvarez says he could not be happier to extend his City stay – and believes he has plenty of room for improvement during the course of his new deal.
OFFICIAL: DC United sign Forest's O'Brien
DC United have completed a loan deal for midfielder Lewis O'Brien from Nottingham Forest, head coach Wayne Rooney confirmed on Thursday. Other MLS teams were said to be interested in swooping for O'Brien but Rooney's DC United, who finished bottom in the Eastern Conference last season, emerged as frontrunners.
