Southampton were condemned to a fifth consecutive league defeat when they lost out to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the first premier league game of Sunday.
The Saints went up through Danny Ings, but carelessly lost their lead as Wolverhampton wanderers equalized and went on to win the game courtesy of goals from Ruben Neves and Pedro Neto.
West bromwich Albion vs Manchester united
Manchester united stumbled to a second consecutive draw when they were held by relegation threatened West brom at the Hawthorns stadium. The home side went ahead inside just two minutes into the game, but united wrestled back an equalizer through midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
Sam Allardyce's men could have easily won the game as they squandered a host of chances to put united to the sword in the second half with both teams settling for a share of the spoils in the game.
Arsenal vs Leeds united
Arsenal took full advantage of Liverpool and Manchester united's slip up to put themselves within touching distance of the top 4 as they put Leeds united to a 4-2 defeat at the Emirates stadium.
A first premier league hattrick from captain Pierre Aubameyang and a sweet strike from Hector Bellerin made sure the Gunners climbed back into the top half of the table.
Everton vs Fulham
Everton missed the opportunity to close the gap on fellow Meyerside club Liverpool when they lost out to relegation threatened Fulham at home.
The Meyerside club fell to second half strikes from Nigerian born striker Josh Maja as Fulham secured a crucial three points on the road.

Both Manchester clubs lead the way at the top half of the table with Leicester city closing in behind in third spot.
Reigning premier league champions Liverpool are fourth a point ahead of Chelsea and West ham united who both have a game in hand. Everton remain in 6th place despite their loss to Fulham while Aston Villa and Tottenham sit in 8th and 9th place respectively.
Arsenal move back into the top half of the table ahead of Leeds united who drop to 11th spot.
