Rashidi Yekini was a talented Nigerian footballer who scored 37 goals in 58 international appearances. He featured in several clubs like UNTL Kaduna, Shooting Stars, Abiola Babes, Africa Sports, Vitória Setúbal, Olympiacos, Sporting Gijón, FC Zürich, Bizerte, Al-Shabab, Julius Berger and Gateway United before his painful death.
He lived between October 23, 1963 to May 4, 2012.
Yemisi is a graduate of De Monforte University in Leicester City, United Kingdom.

Another of Yekini's daughter is also making waves. Mariam Omoyemi is really a beautiful lady. She graduated at University of Ilorin with a degree in English Department in 2019.
