Opinion: Brazilian Star's Recent Form In Madrid May Be Bad News For Hazard

Real Madrid travelled to Valencia to face Valencia football club at the Estadio Mestalla in the match-week 5 of the 2021/2022 Spanish La Liga season.

Real Madrid had to come from one goal down to secure all three points late in the second half of the match. The comeback started with young Brazilian star Vinicius Jr., scoring his fifth goal of the league season.

Vinicius Jr. was previously known for his poor goal conversion rate, but this season in La Liga alone, he has equaled Eden Hazard's total goals for Real Madrid, as he has scored five goals and looks like a good partner with Karim Benzema, who has scored six goals and provided five assists this season. With such a performance, any coach will not look at the pedigree of Hazard during his selection but will choose Vinicius because of his recent form, and this is bad news for the Belgian star, who moved to Madrid in a deal worth more than £100 million.

Hazard should be worried because of the Brazilian young star, as he was substituted when the team needed a player to help and equalize a goal against Valencia as they were losing 1-0, but the Brazilian was left on the pitch and he rewarded his coach with an 86th minute equalizer.

Real Madrid has climbed to the top of La Liga with 13 points from 5 games, winning four matches and drawing one, as they look to dethrone city rival Atletico Madrid as the champions of Spain.
