Top five football youngsters that failed to live up to expectations.
There have been many great footballers over all the ages the likes of Lionel messi, christano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney e.tc have all lived up to expectations, but yet so many who have been touted to wear the crowns of Messi and Ronaldo have failed to make it big.
Here are top ten players and their clubside.
1) Bojan krkic - ( PREVIOUSLY: Barcelona and Spain. CURRENTLY: Montreal impact) :- Bojan krkic who currently plies his trade at the mls, was named as the next big thing to happen to the game of football having come out of the famed la masia academy, but due to numerous injuries sadly the Spanish player fell short of his talents which has seen him move from Italy to england before finally settling down in the United States.
2) Adnan Januzaj - (PREVIOUSLY: Manchester United and Belgium. CURRENTLY: Real soceidad) :- The Belgian who was touted as the next best thing to happen to the round leather but couldn't cut it at old Trafford before being shipped out under Louis van gaal, but now he is currently finding his feet at real soceidad.
3)Renato sanches - (PREVIOUSLY:- Bayern Munich and Portugal. CURRENTLY: Real soceidad.) :- The European championships winner with Portugal was a shining light at the tournament has he caught a lot of eyes with his dazzling performance and was touted as the next big star to come out of Portugal. But after seeing himself move to Bayern Munich he failed to make any impact before being loaned to Swansea and finally settling at Lille Metropole.
4) James Wilson - ( PREVIOUSLY:- Manchester United. CURRENTLY:- Salford city) :- After an inspiring
and fantastic debut for the red devils back in 2014 where he scored two goals, but numerous injuries ended his stay at Manchester United. He now plies his trade at league two side Salford city.
5) Theo Walcott (PREVIOUSLY:- Arsenal,Everton and England. CURRENTLY:- Southampton) :- Arsene Wenger famously called Walcott one of the best players in england,though he started his arsenal career on a high but over the years he fell out before joining Everton where he also failed to make an impact. He joined Southampton this season let's hope he finds his feet again.
