2 Nigerian brothers leave Manchester City for a German club

Now that we are in the preseason of the 2021/2022 season, footballers who were on loan will return to their clubs, some of them will eventually go back on loan, some will be sold while some still stay in the club.

Many clubs are signing Nigerian players around the world ahead of the 2021/2002 season, a German club, Wolfsburg who will play Champions League football in the 2021/2022 season has signed 2 Nigerian brothers from Manchester City.

Felix Kalu Nmecha and Lukas Mmecha are of Nigerian descent, they were born in Germany and grew up in England. They are both eligible to represent the 3 countries at the senior level.

The two footballers joined started their careers at Manchester city, Lukas who is the older one has been sent out on loan to 4 different clubs, Preston North End, Wolfsburg, Middleborough, and Anderlecht but Felix remained at Manchester City.

The two brothers decided to leave the club and they both went to Wolfsburg. Felix is a clinical striker, he scored 18 goals for Anderlecht last season, we hope he continues his excellent form at Wolfsburg.
