Born to Cameroonian parents, Simeu was raised in Southampton as a kid and has gone on to represent England U19 football team. The completion of his transfer to The Saints means he has gone returned to his home club.
Simeu transfer to Southampton was confirmed via the Club official statement after his deal at Chelsea came to an end last season, but Simeu won't join Southampton for free.
A transfer fee of about £1.5m has been agreed by the both clubs, and Simeu is reported to have agreed a personal terms with St. Mary's outfits.
The 19-year-old centre back who can also play as a right-back played over 67 matches for Chelsea U18 team, providing 4 assists for his teammates and netting 3 goals.
