This topic seems hilarious, but most people don't seem to get it. Ronaldo is the richest footballer alive with a net worth if about $460million. His source of wealth ranges from his salary to his endorsement deals, hotels, fashion line etc. He is also the first footballer to earn 1 billion dollars.

Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the other hand is a Nigerian business man, he is the richest man in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. He has an estimated net worth of $9.8billion dollars which is enough to buy both Real Madrid fc and Manchester United at the same time. You can search the internet for confirmation. Dangote's companies are Dangote Cement Plc, Dangote Sugar Refinery, Dangote flour Mills, Dangote Salt. His oil refinery at lagos is expected to be the largest in Africa and world's biggest single train facility.

Dangote is about 20 times as rich as Ronaldo. Nevertheless, Ronaldo is the richest Footballer excluding the relative of Sultan of Brunei whose wealth isn't from football...
