RMD 1-1 MCI: Match Review As The Citizens Keep Their Hopes Of Winning Their First-Ever UCL Alive

Kevin De Bruyne scored an incredible equalizer as Manchester City claimed a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid on Tuesday night at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

The Belgian canceled out an equally stunning first-half effort from Vinicius Junior when he blasted past international team-mate Thibaut Courtois from the edge of the area after 67 minutes. Treble-chasing Manchester City had dominated a lot of the early play but holders Real Madrid brought first blood in a tense battle when Vinicius lashed home from 25 yards after 36 minutes to put his team in front.

The English Premier League side entered the high-profile UEFA Champions League game on Tuesday to avenge their loss to Real Madrid at the same stage of the competition last season, but after creating a lot of clear-cut chances in the interesting game, all they got was a draw which they will back to Etihad for the reverse fixture next week.
