Speaking ahead of the game, Manchester United’s manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjær stated that the match will surely be difficult. He was quoted as saying, "Since I came in, we've played them [Brighton] quite a few times and they've all been difficult games, our players respect them. We have to be at our best to earn the right to play."
Brighton, meanwhile, are six points above the relegation zone after beating fellow strugglers Newcastle United 3-0 in their most recent outing.
