Antonio Rudiger: Facing United will be tough but good thing is Giroud firing again

The centre-back admits United are 'in great form' and chould be confident ahead of the FA Cup clash.

The good news for Chelsea is that Olivier Giroud is on a great run of games.

The Frenchman has scored four of his seven goals after the season restarted.

"I'm truly anticipating the game," Antonio Rudiger told the German FA's site (h/t Goal).

"Manchester United are in extraordinary structure – I mean, they haven't lost in 18 or 19 games. They beat us twice in the group, as well, so they'll come into it with an immense measure of certainty.

"It will be an intense battle, however the beneficial thing for us is that Olivier Giroud is firing once more. He battled for some time and some had just kept in touch with him off."

This season the 33-year-old Frenchman has scored 7 goals in 20 games over all rivalries. Giroud has been in fine structure in Chelsea's ongoing games scoring four of his seven goals after the lockdown.
