Paris St Germain steered up their UCL campaign with a 2-0 victory over last season finalist Manchester City. After performing poorly against Club Brugge on match-day one, the Parisians stepped up against Pep Guardiola's side.
PSG dominated Manchester City and after the game, Neymar uploaded a photo of the club's deadly attacking trio which includes him, Mbappe and Messi, with a fire caption saying how hot their combination is.
Reacting to Neymar's photo was Chelsea defender Thiago Silva. The 37-year-old reacted by commenting - "I hope that we don't come against you anytime soon, God forbid" a comment which comes as a joke but might also have a side meaning.
In a bid to win the UCL, PSG assembled one of the deadliest squads in Europe that can bring down any opposition. No team will face PSG without that fear factor, and what they did to Man City yesterday is a clear indication of what they are capable of.
Chelsea by being defending champions is one of the best teams in Europe. The Blues also boast of a very good squad and their current form has shown they will be a force to reckon with in Europe.
But to me, Thiago Silva's comment clearly shows that even Chelsea are wary of PSG and wouldn't want to meet them like he said: "anytime soon".
What do you make of Silva's comment? Should Chelsea be afraid of PSG?
