Super Eagles forward guides his team to victory in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers

Super Eagles of Nigeria dazzler, Olanrewaju Kayode was in action on Thursday night for Sivasspor in their return leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers against Dinamo Batumi at the Yeni Sivas 4 Eylul Stadium.

The 28 years old Nigerian star was handed a role to play in his team's starting XI following his outstanding performance for his side in their previous game.

Olanrewaju Kayode was at top notch in the show of the night as he played significant roles in his team's success to make it through to the next round of the competition on aggregate.

The first half of the game was very intensed as there was nothing to separate the two sides at half-time which ended goalless draw.

In the second half of the game, the tempo got tensed up as they both put up some physical, tactical and technical displays but none was able to break the deadlock until the 78th minutes when the visitor took the lead with a goal from Giorgi Pantsulaia to make it one nil, and as such balanced the game at 2-2 on aggregate after the full time having played out a two goals to one scoreline in the first leg.

In the first half of the extra time, Jorge Felix gave the host the lead in the 109th minutes to make it 1-1 thereby making the game three goals to two on aggregate.

Every other attempts from both ends to add more to the tally of the night proved abortive as it ended 3-2 after extra time.

Sivasspor with the deserved victory of the night are now through to the next round of competition and as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture.
