Does Lisandro Martinez's lack of height make a difference for Man Utd?

According to footballtransfers, Martinez appears to have been signed by United before Premier League rivals Arsenal. Argentina fans are understandably delighted about the latest addition to their team.

What they may not realize is that Martinez is only 5'9" tall, which is somewhat shorter than the typical British adult male and much shorter for a centre-back. Does Lisandro Martinez's lack of height make a difference for Man Utd?

Martinez continued to improve last season. He started 36 games in all competitions at center-back, finishing the season with league-best marks for tackles (three per game), progressive passes (eight per 90), and shot-creating actions among players at his position (more than one per game).

Martinez makes up for his lack of height with his reading of the game, persistence, and skill.

If any more justification is required, keep in mind that Martinez kept Erling Haaland extremely quiet when Ajax defeated Borussia Dortmund 4-0 in the Champions League last season, and he will be unaffected when he meets the 6'5" Norwegian in the Manchester derby this year.
