Premier League newcomers, Brentford have appointed Deji Davies as a Non-Executive Director.

The Bees are keen to make a lasting impression in the English top-flight, hence the need to engage the services of Davies.

The Nigerian born Deji Davies played as a striker for Wembley FC, Boreham Wood and Slough Town during his playing days.

Revered as one of the brightest minds in the game, the ex-Department for Culture, Media and Sport Executive has been courted by some of the best clubs in the world over the past decade.

Having studied Economics & Management at University of Oxford, the Nigerian should fit in perfectly at Brentford.

Davies had his early school at Acland Burghley School before proceeding to Woodhouse Sixth Form College.

His managerial experience includes stints at J.P. Morgan, Future First Graphic and Rothschild Graphic.
