Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo crashed his gray Ferrari in Turin on Wednesday morning.

Former Barcelona midfielder Arthur was involved in a car accident in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Turin, crashing his gray Ferrari in the process.

The 25 year old Brazil international who joined Juventus from Barcelona in a swap deal for Miralem Pjanic last summer, is currently sidelined after undergoing surgery to repair an injury to his right leg back in July.

The accident occurred at 4 a.m in the morning in the centre of the town of Palafrugell, in the province of Girona, when the player's Ferrari mounted the footpath and collided with a lamp post.

Arthur who was on his way to undergo medical examinations at the club facilities was unhurt in the crash, but the front of his gray Ferrari suffered a huge damage. The Brazilian is expected to return to action after the international break in October.
