Arsenal vs Aston Villa: Why Ben White Deserved To Be Named The Man Of The Match.

24 year-old Ben White, may have played his best game in Arsenal's shirt in the 3-1 win against Aston Villa on Friday 22nd October. He was so confident on the ball and made some quick passes into midfield, he was also a key facilitator in the build up for the goals. Emile Smith Rowe, may have been named the Man Of The Match, but Ben White is more deserving of the recognition, because he was very brilliant and he did everything right. He had 94% pass accuracy and was not dribbled past all through the game, he also had 100% aeriel duel success and made 3 clearances.

White played as both a progressive passer and a ball carrier. He made 2 blocks and had two interceptions and also won 100% of the ground duels. The Englishman does all the dirty work on the pitch, and he does not get appreciated enough by Arsenal fans.

The 24 year-old rose above the abuses and criticisms, and chose to be excellent against Aston Villa. He made crucial blocks and positioned really well, he was simply colossus in the game. His partnership with Gabriel is quite solid, The Englishman is usually the aggressor, both in and out of possession, while Gabriel sits back and guards his area, thereby exploiting each other's strengths to great effect.
